  • Combining a snarling post-punk energy with motorik beats and desert freakouts, Brighton’s psych-punk trio Strange Cages have made strides in their short existence gaining support from the likes of Clash, Fred Perry Subculture, Q Magazine, The 405 and The Line of Best Fit and tearing up stages supporting King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Night Beats, and Boogarins.͞(Strange Cages) deliciously evil sounds are reminiscent of the dark side of the ’67 dream, haunted by the spectre of the flower children finally fading from bloom. An epic live act͟ (Clash) Fraught with paranoia and nervous energy, their new 6 track EP ͚The Cracks͛, produced by Margo Broom (Fat White Family, Telegram) is due for a May release on Vallance Records and will see the band tour the UK with Vulgarians as well as play their own dates.
