Olly Flavell
BIMM Institute Manchester
  • Olly Flavell is a city boy originally from the West Midlands but now living in Manchester, studying full time at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute. Olly spends his days writing, busking and performing. Not a night would be missed that you couldn’t see him at a local open mic or gig.

At only 19 years old he’s had his fair share of musical experience. Supporting artists such as James Veck-Gilodi from Deaf Havana and winning gold at the ‘National World Skills’ competition. He has performed in legendary venues such as the Genting Arena Birmingham, Gorilla Manchester and many more. In May 2015, he released a self-penned album called ‘Lo-Fi’.

After working hard over several months he’s on the rise with hundreds of physical copies sold, and being streamed over 5000+ times on Bandcamp. Most recently he’s worked with stylist Tim Lord and video director Ben Newbury of The Rolling Stones, James Bay, George Ezra. He’s also been working with Universal Publishing by composing and arranging for Swedish dance music. As an independent artist “he’s one to watch out for”.
