Mother Me
BIMM Institute Brighton
  • Mother Me have relentlessly spent the past year crafting their own brand of doomy indie tinged post-punk. Made up of Josh (Guitar/Vocals) and Becca (Guitar/Synth/Vocals) the Brighton based duo have been honing in their unique sound drawing influences from artists including The Smiths and Warpaint. They closed 2015 with their debut live show at Sticky Mikes, and an appearance at The Old Market receiving rave reviews from the crowd and industry guests alike.

Mother Me’s sound is best summed up as strong grooves, moulded with eerie melodies and heart felt lyrics, creating songs that will affect the consumers emotions. 2016 sees the duo release their debut single “Make Me Whole” on the 22nd of January, alongside a free release of their version of “Out Of The Black” originally by Royal Blood a few days prior. Mother Me are ones to watch this year as they come out of hiding and into the forefront of Brighton’s live scene with something to set them apart.
